Marcela Pittner was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1944. She started studying arts in 1962 at artist Barceló's ceramics workshop. At the same time she began studying painting with tempera and oil paints. In the middle of the 1980s, she continued studying naïf painting with the artist Ana Inés Macadam and acrylics with Franca De Lacua. She worked during ten years in jewelry design with precious and semiprecious stones. After an impasse of several years, at the end of the 1990s, she resumed art studies with live model and water colors at the "Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes" Foundation, with the artist and professor Ariel Mlynarsewiz. She currently works intensely with oleo techniques with master and artist Oscar Franchino. Marcela Pittner's Website
